What each mailbox holds
- Inbox
- Mail a person wrote to you.
- General
- Newsletters, receipts and notifications. Nothing is deleted here; it is only kept out of the Inbox.
- Spam
- What the filter held back. Open anything wrongly held and press Not spam to move it back and teach the filter.
- Sent
- Everything you sent from this mailbox.
Spam, and what your reports do
Report spam moves the message to Spam and teaches the filter what you consider unwanted. Not spam moves it back to the Inbox and teaches the opposite. Both act on your mailbox only.
Outbound mail is scored the same way. A message of yours that scores as spam is refused at submission rather than sent, which is what keeps the gaddr.com domain reputation intact.

This destroys the exact credential-owning mailbox and every alias attached to it. It never treats an alias as a different User, does not run automatically when a person leaves the roster, and cannot be undone here.
